Jackson
I am looking for information on my great-grandfather, Samuel Jackson. He is from the Yorkshire area and moved to America, where he married Jennie Lee. They had my grandmother, Naomi Theola Jackson, as well as a few sons (I do not know their names). Samuel was born 6 Aug 1875 and died 4 Apr 1962. Any help is much appreciated.

I am looking for information on the family of my g grandfather Herbert Jackson b. June 1864 in Patrington. He is noted in the 1881 census as being 16yrs an Indoor Farm Servant at Whitehall Farm, Winestead. He came to Queensland, Australia and married my g grandmother on 14 Apr 1891 in Brisbane, on their marriage certificate his parents are noted as Henry and Eliza....I have never been able to find them or any siblings.

Herbert owned a farm at Mt. Pleasant north west of Brisbane...he was the father of 6 children, my grandmother Eliza being the oldest girl. Herbert sold the farm before going off to fight in WW1 he was nearly 50yrs old, he came home, but never 'went' home....he disappeared...as the story goes. Would love to find out more about his family.

Does anyone know the maiden name of Sarah Bell nee Jackson's mother? Sarah was born abt. 1862. I am looking for Jane Jagger born 1822 in Laxton near Goole, East Yorkshire. I know she married William Richardson in York in 1846 but I cannot find out anything about Jane's early life or family. Her son, George, puts his birth place as Laxton. This may have been so, if she was visiting family at the time of his birth, but he was registered at Acomb, York. I am trying to find any descendants of Katie Minson Jeakins born in Hitchin, Hertfordshie in 1872 but lived all her life in Hull, Yorkshire. She married Edward Fry in 1892 and had the following children: Florence M born 1896, Edward born 1899 and Annie E born 1900.
I am also looking for any descendants of Charles Jeakins born in Hitchin, Hertfordshie in 1873 but lived in Hull from childhood. He first married Charlotte Baker in 1915 but she died in 1916. He then married Annie Leek and had two children: Martha born 1922 and Florence born 1919.
Also looking for any descendants of Alfred Jeakins born in Little Staughton, Bedfordshire in 1878. He lived in Hull from childhood and died in Hull in 1934. I cannot find a marriage for him. Any info would be appreciated.
Also looking for any descandants of Annie Jeakins born in Boston in 1881 but lived in Hull from childhood. She married Frederick Baxter in 1905 and had a son, Albert, born in Hull in 1911. Any info would be appreciated.

Alice Jebson, was born 1855/6 in Burton Leonard. Her father was Thomas Jebson, 1807-1883, a Blacksmith of Acomb, mother was Ann Gowland, 1811-1879.
Alice married George Richardson and lived in Acomb,her brothers and sisters were born in Acomb so I am perplexed as to why she was born in Burton Leonard, any information would be of great help.

Looking for anyone whom had the following family name of Jepson. My ancestors go back to Robert Jepson, that came from Pocklington way in the industrial revolution, to work the pig-iron in Middlesborough. His son was Charles Jepson, whom had approximately 10 children. Frank Jepson, Frederick Jepson, Reginald Jepson, and about 4 daughters, and one more son. My grandfather was Frederick. He married Eva Gertrude Gosling, approximately 1920 or so. Had two children, Constance and Dennis. Constance had two daughters, and Dennis had two daughters and 1 son. Constance died in 1999 and Dennis in 2005. Constance from Diabetes and Dennis from Alzheimers Disease. I would be interested in knowing about Frank Jepson, and Reginald Jepson and from their kin.

I am looking for information on my late grandad and his late brother and sisters. They were born in Sockburn near Great Ayton about 1900, were farmers and moved to Trimdon in County Durham in 1912.
My grandad was John Stainthorpe, his brother George Henry, and his sisters were Annie and  Jennie Johnson.
I want to know what farm they lived at, and if there are still relatives about. I remember a Mrs Bell of Stokesley when grandad died in 1965 when she came to a funeral, and she had son on a farm.

I would like to find information on my father and grandfather. My father's name was Edgar, born at Collingham, Leeds on 23.10.1908.
My grandfather's name was also Edgar but I don't know the date of birth. He married Susan Dykes in about 1905 and is believed to have lived at Wetherby, and he was a gardener at Harewood House. They later moved to Ellerton on Swale where he was a farm labourer. He died in about 1942 and is buried at Bolton on Swale.

I am trying to find information on the father and mother of Andrew Johnson who was born in 1830 and died in 1904 in Tadcaster. Andrew got married in 1850 to a Mary Spencer (1831-1897)… I have the marriage certificate which has Andrew's father as being Henry Johnson. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I am trying to trace my grandfather, William (Bill) Johnston. He was born approx 1905, we believe in Halifax. He was in the RAF and was an RAF Police Sgt and based in Oxfordshire (RAF Kidlington) in the 1950s. He was also in Buckeburg and Berlin in 1954. I have observed 17 listed Judson's in the Poll Tax Rolls of the year, 1379 in Yorkshire and have seen the Judson name mentioned in the "Court Roles of the Manor of Wakefield", as early as the year 1349.
